‘Shots’, ‘Poisoned Love’ & ‘Deep Love’
Saskia's love for writing on a whole is incredible. She yearns to become a published writer one day, so she can finally fulfill her dream. Beginning her writing, moreso poetic journey at 18, she has been and continue to face rejections.

Brian Rohr is a writer, poet, and performative storyteller based outside of Portland, OR. His essay, “Living in a Broken and Magnificent World: On Being a Story-Carrier,'' was recently featured in the two-volume book set about Jewish Storytelling, P’ri Etz Yitzhak, Fruit of Yitzhak’s Tree. He’s the founder and director of “The Stafford Challenge,” an international poetry project inspiring over one thousand participants to write a poem every day for a year, influenced by legendary poet William Stafford. ‘Algorithms of Reincarnation’
Rob Armstrong’s book Daddy 3.0: A Comedy of Errors won the 2017 Independent Author Network Award for Best Comedy/Satire Novel. He attended several writing workshops, including the Gotham Writers’ Workshop and the International Thriller Writers’ Workshop. He earned his master’s in communication management from the University of Southern California. His work is forthcoming in Chamber Magazine, El Portal, Euphony Journal, Evening Street Review, Nude Bruce Review, Pennsylvania Literary Journal, and Perceptions Magazine.
Being Hugh Lofting (and Conceiving the Doctor Dolittle Books of Children’s Literature)
Robert Eugene Rubino is a septuagenarian writer who has published prose and poetry in various online and print journals in addition to three collections. He's smart enough to solve the New York Times crossword puzzle on Mondays (other days not so much).
‘Stop Motion’
Maggie McCombs is a managing editor, poet and neurodivergent neurodiversity advocate hailing from Lexington, Kentucky. She has work coming out soon in "Half and One," "Wishbone Words" and "The Write Launch." She lives with her husband, Anthony, and their four pets.
‘A Salute to the Wartime Poems of Abraham Sutzkever’ (1913-2010) & Collected Works
A. Z. Foreman is a literary translator, poet and immedicable language-acquisition addict currently working on a doctorate in Near Eastern Languages at the Ohio State University. His translations from Arabic, Latin, Modern Occitan, Spanish, Ukrainian, Russian, Old English, Old Irish and Yiddish have appeared in sundry places including Metamorphoses, Blue Unicorn, Asymptote, Brazen Head, Russian Life and the Penguin Book of Russian Poetry. His translation of Saint John of the Cross' "Dark Night of the Soul" has been set to music by Christopher Marshall. He also sometimes writes his own poetry if the weather in his head gets weird enough. The most important fact to note is that if you have a dog or even a tame pet fox he would very much like to pet it.
BAD GUY
Cole Chaloupka is a former classroom teacher and current college counselor with an undergraduate degree in Marketing and Masters in Teaching. One of his favorite parts of teaching was the creative writing units, where he found he really enjoyed doing the writing prompts alongside the kids.
‘Dual Mourning’
Gabby Rosenzweig is an emerging writer based in NYC where she works as a full-time management consultant. She graduated from UPenn in 2020 with a degree in Communications. She has always been a writer, though she has just begun starting to share with others as she grows her work. She began this journey with the great support from the Gotham Writers Workshop and the community built there.

Sophie Lominska is a sixteen year old aspiring author from Kansas. This work, "Prayers," is a freeform, creative poem detailing her hopes for her life, and the revelations that eventually come along with it. She usually writes short stories and is excited for the chance to share her poetry with the world.

Matt Eddy is a a New York based, fable and humor author who likes to write with a taxidermized raccoon by my side. He is fascinated with the macabre and art that brings us closer to understanding ourselves.
‘Voices from the Archives’
Amanda Kluveld is a Holocaust historian and associate professor of history. She has authored several non-fiction books. Coming from a Dutch Indies family, Amanda is the first generation born in the Netherlands, and she brings a unique perspective to her research and writing, blending personal heritage with scholarly rigor.
‘ISLAND OF DREAMS’
Laima Gulbe-Testa's grandmother was a literature teacher and taught her to read and write very early. She remembers reading an article about an asteroid coming close to the Earth already at preschool age feeling so proud about being able to read complicated words. During her twenties she fell in love with the English language and began expressing herself in English. Her native tongue is Latvian. But her interest in songwriting led her to write in English even more. In her writing she's mostly interested in different social groups, global warming, the end of mankind and which direction mankind is taking, psychology and freedom of mind.
‘An Accusation Of Betrayal’
Toria Hill is a living, working artist who works in Acrylics and Mixed media at her studio inside the Winter Street Studios in Houston Texas. In December of 2022 another artist, filled with anger about what he perceived as a betrayal, set a bomb off inside the building and this fire consumed the entire building which held the life work of over 100 artist - including Toria Hill. Although she is not a poet, she had onn piece that, although damaged by smoke, survided the fire. In her pain, anger and loss she scribbled these words across the canvas.
