‘A Song of Liberty’
Mia Moriarty is a young poet, songwriter, and aspiring filmmaker from southern New Hampshire. She is studying literature at the University of Massachusetts Lowell. She is influenced by poets such as Allen Ginsberg, Claude McKay, Walt Whitman, Emily Dickinson, Langston Hughes, Sylvia Plath, songwriters such as Bob Dylan, Nina Simone, Patti Smith, Neil Young, Gillian Welch, Joan Baez, Joni Mitchell, and filmmakers such as Ingmar Bergman, Paul Schrader, Carl Theodor Dreyer, Ousmane Sembène, and Sergei Eisenstein. Mia has been writing poetry as a passion for many years and has been developing a distinct voice/style.
‘Lucan and the Muse’ & ‘Iqrit’
A. Z. Foreman is a literary translator, poet and language teacher currently working on a doctorate in Near Eastern Languages at the Ohio State University. He received his B.A. in Linguistics from the University of Chicago, and his M.A. in Arabic Language from the University of Maryland. His translations from Latin, Arabic, Chinese, Old Irish, Occitan, Russian, Old English, Ukrainian and Yiddish have appeared in sundry anthologies, journals and a BBC radio broadcast. He sometimes writes his own poetry if it really comes to that. He divides his time between the bedroom, the bathroom and the kitchen. If you have a dog, he would very much like to pet it.
‘A View on the End of the World’
Sarah Crane is a lifelong reader and writer, unpublished unless you count college papers or medical journals. She is a youngish old person who has spent 35 years as a physician and parent living in Boston. She reads two novels at any given time, The New Yorker, and two papers delivered daily although she knows that is archaic but can't stop as it links her to her childhood at the table with her parents.

Max Peña spent the best part of a quarter century working in corporate jobs in New York City. These experiences have inspired his creative work. He also holds a master's degree in creative writing from Edinburgh Napier University. He now lives in the south of France with his wife, dog, and cat.

Rina M. Steen is a Danish-American author and artist. Ever the happily-ever-after enthusiast, she is an avid romance reader and writer with a penchant for the gothic genre. You can find her on social media at @rinamsteen.

Hannah Messer is a current undergrad at the University of Southern California. She is studying Pre-law and English to eventually venture into politics and work as an attorney. A lover of words, Hannah will someday retire to the mountains to write.
‘Eclipse’
Autumn Farmer is an artist and writer studying Creative Media at Champlain College. Throughout her time on earth, she has used poetry as a coping mechanism and way of documenting every day life, however exciting or mundane. She has had several poems published in the Rutland Herald, as well as a creative nonfiction essay in the North Dakota Quarterly.

Richie Magnia is a student at the University of North Texas, studying Creative Writing and Media Arts. While primarily working as a screenwriter, he got his start in short fiction and poetry. Working in various genres, he is able to meld them together to create cinematic prose and poetic cinema. Themes prominent in his work include: violence in men, cycles within families, and the connection between art and violence. Acting as president, he is the founder of UNT's Screenwriting Camp and has been featured in the North Texas Review, Mantis, and Wingless Dreamer. He can be found on Instagram @richiemagnia.

Costello Keene is an undergraduate student at Slippery Rock University, where she majors in secondary education English and minors in writing. She has been previously published in multiple young writers' anthologies and acts as the assistant editor for The Slab magazine. Costello has been writing ever since she can remember and could not imagine a world without it.

Matt Gulley is a poet, playwright and fiction writer. He attended Wayne State University in Detroit and currently resides in Brooklyn with his partner Jenna. ‘Anthony Acri--A Bunny’s Life Cartoons’
Anthony Acri is a cartoonist, illustrator and a social critic, in the terms of Croce or Vidal, who lives in the suburbia of Pittsburgh Pa, with his sister and brother and are all that is left of a family of Italians who had coddled and both warned him of the quagmire that he was going to be dealing in and with as a boy.
‘Past the Wall’
Cheney Luttich enjoys write poems and historical fiction. During the day, she's Professor Luttich at Southeast Community College in Nebraska. Off campus, she's having fun being mom and wife, and she's always up for a road trip to a museum, making a new friend, a chat on the front porch, or a giving a lecture about which of the three 19th century bustle periods is the coolest.

Derek Kalback is a music teacher in Cincinnati, OH. In his spare time he reads, writes, and spends time with his three daughters and fiancee.
‘Sheers of Fire and Ice’
Karlyn Rainey is a 22-year-old writer who studied professional writing and rhetoric and film and digital media at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. She has always enjoyed creative writing, especially longer-form poetry and fictional short stories. While creative writing is one of her hobbies, she also enjoys hiking, making bread, making collages, and painting for her online website, karlynrainey.art, in her spare time while balancing job hunting in technical writing or editing. She hopes to continue writing creatively while growing her career and continuing to do everything that she loves.
